“My community Warrior Talk is about uniting creatives, warriors and storytellers, with the desire of bettering the conversation towards mental health. I created the community many years ago, starting as a place where people could share, read and listen, all with the hope that those struggling feel less alone. It’s since evolved, in keeping with the purpose to share, speak, listen and read, where being vulnerable is protected, to express is celebrated, resonating with someone else’s heartbreak is safe. We now create our own projects, projects grounded in showcasing diverse creatives with a message of love and passion beyond the physical. We want to help prevent eating disorders in dancers, support those suffering and shift the narrative beyond surface level ideals. All leotard and art print sales go towards funding therapy sessions for dancers, with the desire to get individuals to a healthier place. So far we have funded 6 dancers treatment plans, 3 of which are students at full time training. This is just the beginning, I feel very proud in crafting how I can with the most incredible team behind me.”
